Conference on challenges and opportunities for the EU’s future energy supply

The Committee on Industry and Trade will organise a conference on the theme “Challenges and opportunities for the EU's future energy supply”. The conference will be held in the Riksdag’s Former Second Chamber on 23–24 April.

Date: 23–24 April
Location: The Former Second Chamber of the Riksdag, Stockholm

Current energy policy issues will be discussed at the conference. The programme includes security of energy supply and challenges for the energy markets in the shadow of an unsettled world order. The subjects of sustainable research, development and innovation as a solution to the EU's energy challenges will also be addressed. 

The conference is part of the parliamentary dimension of Sweden’s Presidency of the EU Council of Ministers. The Chair and Deputy Chair of the Committee on Industry and Trade will host the conference.

On 23–24 April, the Committee on Trade and Industry will hold an interparliamentary conference on the challenges and opportunities for the EU’s future energy supply. The transition to more sustainable energy supply, research, development and innovation are topics on the agenda. The conference will be held in the Former Second Chamber of the Swedish Parliament (the Riksdag).
