The Committee on Environment and Agriculture held a conference on the theme of circular bioeconomy as the pathway to an innovative, resource-efficient and competitive Europe. A more innovative, resource efficient and competitive Europe
Bioeconomy concerns all sectors and services that produce, use, process, distribute or consume biological resources. This is core of the European Green Deal.
The aim of the conference is to examine the state of play of the EU's Bioeconomy Strategy from 2018, by highlighting examples and best practices from different sectors and parts of Europe. Conference participants will be invited to explore examples of advancements in policy and research and to take part in the discussion regarding next steps on a regional, national and European level.
